    电力系统专家。中国科学院院士、学部委员，博士生导师。

    毕业于清华大学电机工程系。现任中国电力科学研究院总工程师，国家自然科学基金委员会工程和材料学部主任，国家“十一五”规划专家委员会委员、中国电机工程学会常务理事、电力系统专委会主任、IEEE 北京分会主席等职。

    长期从事电力系统分析方法的研究。90年代开始从事新型灵活交流输电系统(Flexible AC Transmission System, FACTS)和电力电子技术应用于电力系统的研究.

    Graduated from Department of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University. He is now Chief Engineer of China Electric Power Research Institute, Director of Engineering & Materials Department of National Natural Science Foundation of China, member of National 10th Five-year-plan Expert Committee, Executive Director of Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, Director of Electric Power System Study Committee, President of IEEE Beijing Branch.

    Mr. Zhou has long been committed to the research and study, Flexible AC Transmission System, and Power Electronic Technology Application in Electric Power System since 1990s.
